SPOT IT

You could safely say that the other person looked at you when your eyes met. But if you withdraw yours you can never be certain that the other person did the same.

Many cannot see God’s love because they refuse or neglect to see it. The bible is the lens through which we see His guidance and promises and our access of knowing His person. It is difficult to trust somebody that you don’t fully know or to please anybody when you are ignorant of his likes and dislikes.

Know more the heart of your Father through His word for He wrote it with purpose and in love. If love letters and wills interest you then I believe God had the bible for you as both which would give you joy, instruction and life.

Psalms 1
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

fix your eyes on Jesus and never look away that you will constantly see His fresh mercies, unfailing love and amazing grace.

the Lord is nor slack to His promises
hang on to what He said that He will never leave us nor forsake us

Take it

When my classmate offered me tamarind sweets, I refused taking because I’ve just brushed my teeth. On my way home, I was approached for alms and I remembered the sweets that I could have kept for the panhandlers. I believe that receiving per se cheers up the heart of the giver for it is an expression of gratefulness of the gesture. Another concrete illustration is dining out with friends where it is not about the food eaten that matters but the fellowship shared and the memory of it to keep.
So long that which is offered would not lead you into sin, take it. Jesus offers forgiveness and eternal life indiscriminately when He died on the cross to pay for the wages of sin which is death. Acceptance of the gift of salvation is not for God but for men. It is a gift and there is no way we can earn it but by grace.

LEST

see the uneven horns?

nearly a bum
hibernating as if i don't have an exam
2-hour reading is already a burden
hallow hallow halloween

growing horns i see
get lost you worthless attitude
lest worms come and consume this body
leaving no prints nor legacy

lacking life
no drive to bite and hike
like the cloudy sky
still for heaviness inside

rooster crow now
forgiving eyes look upon me
gracious hands break me
and restore me till You see I AM
