The Hunt

taon din kitang sinubukang hanapin

maraming pinagtanungan at lugar na pinuntahan

kung kelan nawala kana sa isip ko, nagkrus naman ating landas

ang mga bagay na nakalaan satin, kusang darating

nakakatulong ang maging handa lagi

ugaliing bukas ang pandinig sa hinaing ng damdamin

hindi ipinapayo na sundin ang puso

pero pakinggan mo kung Dios ang namamalagi dito

hayaan ang Maykapal magdikta ng ating gugustuhin

Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

If we keep ourselves joyfully anchored on His leading then we are able to discern what He wants of us to do with our lives. It is more than getting our prayers granted but Him writing in our hearts what to want, hope and pray for.

I was 18 when I first read the trilogy books of the Lord of the Rings and since then I desired to own copies thereof. After 4 years, when I already had the budget to buy them, most of the bookstores I went to, ran out of stocks 

frown emoticonand when I finally found a store where the books are available--- it lacks one of the books (first book, FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING). Whenever I visit the bookstore, I kept asking for its availability and I consistently received the same response. Other interests came in mind that I forgot about it BUT last night, before going home from the mid-week service at Veranza Mall, Booksale caught my eye then BOOM I saw it and I bought it. However, I got reminded of another collection I've wanted to have too, the Left Behind Series, and I prefer the compiled version thereof. Of the ten volumes, two were available but I only bought one hehe kasi wala pa budget (next time na ang other 9 smile emoticon
